 Single sheet newspaper 10"x6" covering mostly international and shipping news, also foreign royalty, the church, the triple alliance and ship wrecks. Captain Kemphorn bound for Tangier having three ships under his convoy, "was fet upon by feven men of war of Argiers, viz. the Golden Lyon Admiral, of 34 guns, the Orange Tree of 36....." Also "This last VVeek was caft away behind the Goodwin the Diligence, an Englifh Ship, laden with Canaries, but the Men all faved." Note: Canaries here means wine from the Canary Islands.
Condition: very good, couple of dark marks, has been folded, no tears.
